Congratulates Dudley "Dude" Speed on his 2025 retirement from the Texas Division of Emergency Management after 50 years of public service

Speed began his career with the Texas Department of Public Safety in February 1975, serving 30 years in the highway patrol and criminal intelligence divisions

Following DPS retirement, Speed served as the Midland senior liaison officer for TDEM, supporting local emergency management programs and providing assistance to governmental agencies and community organizations

Directs that an official copy of the resolution be prepared for Speed as an expression of high regard from the Texas Legislature

Adopted by the House on May 23, 2025, and by the Senate on May 26, 2025
