Designates January 12 as Nathan Gage Ingram Day in Texas to honor U.S. Navy SEAL Nathan Gage Ingram of Roanoke, who died at age 27 during a mission off the coast of Somalia on January 12, 2024

Special Warfare Operator 2nd Class Ingram was a member of SEAL Team 3 conducting a nighttime operation to board a ship smuggling Iranian missile components to Houthi militants in Yemen when a teammate fell overboard; Ingram jumped in to attempt a rescue and both men were lost at sea

Ingram graduated from Byron Nelson High School in Trophy Club, earned a degree from Texas Tech University, enlisted in the Navy in 2019, and completed SEAL qualification training in 2021

Military decorations included the Navy "E" Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, and Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal

The designation remains in effect for 10 years from the date of final passage, per Section 391.004(d) of the Government Code
