Proposes a constitutional amendment to abolish the Texas state lottery by repealing Section 47(e) of Article III of the Texas Constitution

Amends Section 47(a) to remove the state lottery from the list of authorized exceptions to the prohibition on lotteries and gift enterprises

Maintains existing constitutional authorizations for other lottery exceptions under Subsections (b), (d), and (d-1), such as charitable bingo and raffles

Requires voter approval at an election to be held November 4, 2025

Ballot language will read: "The constitutional amendment to abolish the state lottery"
