Proposes a constitutional amendment to abolish the Texas state lottery by repealing Section 47(e) of Article III of the Texas Constitution, which currently authorizes the lottery

Amends Section 47(a) to remove the state lottery from the list of authorized exceptions to the constitutional prohibition on lotteries and gift enterprises

Maintains existing constitutional exceptions for charitable bingo (Subsection b), charitable raffles (Subsection d), and professional sports team charitable raffles (Subsection d-1)

Requires voter approval at an election to be held on November 4, 2025

Ballot language will read: "The constitutional amendment to abolish the state lottery"
