Proposes adding Section 37 to Article I of the Texas Constitution to establish a parent's right to direct their child's education

Defines "parent" broadly to include natural parents, stepparents, adoptive parents, legal guardians, and other legal custodians

Grants parents specific rights including: making reasonable choices within public schools, choosing private school or homeschool alternatives, accessing teaching materials and textbooks, attending school board meetings, and viewing their child's student records including health records

Prohibits denial or restriction of these parental rights based on disability status of either the parent or child

Requires the amendment be submitted to voters at an election on November 4, 2025
