Proposes adding Section 37 to Article I of the Texas Constitution to establish a constitutional right for people to own, hold, and use mutually agreed upon mediums of exchange when trading and contracting for goods and services

Protected mediums of exchange would include cash, coin, bullion, digital currency, and privately issued scrip

Prohibits any government from prohibiting or encumbering ownership or holding of any form or amount of money or other currency

Preserves the state's ability to choose which mediums of exchange it will accept for payments made to the state

Requires the proposed amendment be submitted to voters at an election on November 4, 2025
