Amends Section 23, Article I of the Texas Constitution to remove language authorizing the Legislature to regulate the wearing of arms "with a view to prevent crime"

Retains the existing constitutional right of every citizen to keep and bear arms in lawful defense of themselves or the State

Eliminates the Legislature's explicitly granted power to pass laws regulating how arms are worn or carried

Submits the proposed constitutional amendment to Texas voters at an election on November 4, 2025

Ballot language would read: "The constitutional amendment guaranteeing the right of every person to keep and bear arms"
