Emily Darien of Isaacs Early Childhood School has been nominated for the 2025 Plano Independent School District Elementary Teacher of the Year award

Ms. Darien is a Plano native who began teaching at Isaacs Early Childhood School in 2016 after graduating from Plano Senior High School and Southern Methodist University with majors in political science and international studies

The Texas House of Representatives officially congratulates her on the nomination and extends best wishes for continued success in her teaching career

An official copy of the resolution will be prepared for Ms. Darien as an expression of high regard from the Texas House of Representatives

Resolution was adopted by the House on May 23, 2025, by a non-record vote
