Commemorates Lemonade Day Galveston County, hosted by the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce on May 3, 2025

Lemonade Day is a nationwide program teaching entrepreneurial skills to children in kindergarten through fifth grade, first brought to Galveston in 2012

Participating children operate lemonade stands and learn to create budgets, set goals, serve customers, and repay investors

Events include kickoff parties at local schools and youth organizations, a lemonade tasting contest, and a larger celebration sponsored by area businesses

Resolution adopted by the Texas House on May 23, 2025, by non-record vote, with an official copy to be provided to the chamber
