Houston plays goalie for field hockey and began the sport at Lone Star Field Hockey; she was also named to the 2024-2025 Southwest Preparatory Conference All-Conference Team and ranked in the top 50 of the U.S. 2025 Max 150

Directs that an official copy of the resolution be prepared for Houston as an expression of high regard from the Texas House of Representatives
