Dr. Christopher Diem, a 2001 graduate of Harker Heights High School, received a 2025 Distinguished Alumni Award from the Killeen Independent School District Alumni Association

Dr. Diem serves as assistant dean of student affairs at Texas A&M University College of Medicine, where he has worked since 2015, helping students transition through medical school and into residencies

Prior to his current role, Dr. Diem worked as an educator in the Killeen, College Station, Belton, and Salado school districts and was named Region 12 Principal of the Year by the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals

The Texas House of Representatives adopted this resolution on May 23, 2025, by non-record vote to congratulate Dr. Diem and extend best wishes for continued success
