Honors the memory of Fred Joseph Mitchell of Lewisville, who passed away on April 21, 2025, at age 75

Fred Mitchell was born January 18, 1950, in St. James, Louisiana, and married Bobbie Jo Benson on October 16, 1971, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Grapevine

Worked for LTV, Engine Components, Home Interiors, Advanced Graphics, and Lewisville Independent School District throughout his career

Survived by wife Bobbie, children Darin and Rhonda, eight siblings, nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren

Unanimously adopted by rising vote of the Texas House of Representatives on May 23, 2025, with the House adjourning in his memory
