The Fajita Lounge originated in 2022 at the Squeezebox bar on St. Mary's Street when organizers improvised by grilling marinated chicken after running out of crawfish at a boil

The donation-based event, nicknamed "the world's hottest Tejano party," raises funds for causes benefiting San Antonio hospitality workers and features cooking competitions with local chefs

An official copy of the resolution will be prepared for the three honorees as an expression of high regard from the Texas House
