Recognizes May 7, 2025, as Keep Texas Beautiful Day at the State Capitol and welcomes the organization's visiting delegation

Keep Texas Beautiful was founded in 1967 as the Beautify Texas Council to improve city and highway appearances before the 1968 HemisFair in San Antonio, later becoming a Keep America Beautiful affiliate in 1985

The organization operates affiliate programs in nearly 300 communities across Texas, collaborating with government entities, churches, and school groups

In 2024, members collected over 1 million pounds of trash and recycling, planted more than 3,000 trees, and contributed over 100,000 volunteer hours through partnership with TxDOT's "Don't Mess with Texas" campaign
