Texas House Resolution honoring George Hugh Johnson of Inez, who passed away on February 18, 2025, at age 55

Johnson served as a sergeant in the detention division of the Victoria County Sheriff's Office during the 1990s and later retired from the Texas Commission on Jail Standards

After retirement, he owned Johnson Maintenance Service and served as a deacon at At the Cross Fellowship church

Resolution extends condolences to his wife Constance, daughter Jordan, son Mason, brothers J.J. and Richard, grandson Rhett, and other family members

Unanimously adopted by rising vote of the Texas House of Representatives on May 23, 2025, with the House adjourning in his memory
