Memorial resolution honoring Dr. Carol Ann Halliday Bonds of San Angelo, who passed away on March 8, 2025, at age 77

Dr. Bonds served as superintendent of Rogers, Livingston, and San Angelo Independent School Districts, receiving the Region 15 Superintendent of the Year Award from the Texas Association of School Boards and Citizen of the Year Award from the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce

She earned degrees from Houston Baptist College, a master's from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, and a doctorate from The University of Texas at Austin

Dr. Bonds helped establish what was believed to be the first school-based health center of its kind in Texas and authored the teacher's guide "Show Me the Way"

The resolution was unanimously adopted by rising vote on May 23, 2025, with the House adjourning in her memory
