Texas House of Representatives commends Trinity Abigail Garcia, a senior at Americas High School in Socorro ISD, for her service as a legislative intern in State Representative Mary E. González's office

Garcia is a member of the Libertas Academy program for students interested in law, government, and public administration, and has held leadership positions in her school's choir and flag team

As team captain of the World Affairs organization, she led her team to first place at the district competition and qualified for the national competition in Washington, D.C.

Garcia has volunteered with the local food bank, shelters for the elderly, and helped care for stray animals on campus through donations and outreach
