Congratulates Joanna Adame of Mission, Texas for graduating from the Texas Partners in Policymaking Class of 2025

Texas Partners in Policymaking is a seven-month leadership training program organized by the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities that empowers adults with developmental disabilities and their families as policy advocates

Adame participated as a parent advocate and completed a capstone project focused on raising awareness of cortical visual impairment (CVI) and expanding access to CVI resources

Adame serves as chair of the parent advisory committee for Easterseals Rio Grande Valley, connecting families with services and advocating for community support systems
