Honors Reverend Henry Lee Pendergrass of Midland, who passed away on July 5, 2024, at age 67

Pendergrass was born in Pittsburg on August 18, 1956, attended Austin College, and earned his master of divinity degree from Virginia Theological Seminary

Served as an Episcopal priest at multiple churches in Dallas and Flower Mound, founded Saint Nicholas Episcopal Church in 1998, transferred to the Anglican Church in 2006, and later served Christ Church Anglican in Midland

Extends sympathy to his wife Colleen, daughters Abigail and Elizabeth, siblings Keith, Virginia, and Peter, and other family members

Resolution was unanimously adopted by rising vote of the Texas House on June 2, 2025, with the House adjourning in his memory
