Texas House Resolution honors Katherine Lindley for her service as Capitol nurse practitioner during the 89th Legislative Session, providing health care to the legislative community

Lindley is a fifth-generation Texan from Val Verde County who earned her associate's degree in nursing from Tarleton State University in 1984 and began her career at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio in 1985

She worked in Los Angeles during the AIDS epidemic, then returned to Texas in 1994 as a registered nurse, later earning a bachelor's degree from UT Arlington (2011) and master's degree from Angelo State University (2015)

Lindley worked as a family nurse practitioner in rural Washington before returning to Texas in October 2020 to serve as Capitol nurse practitioner

Resolution was adopted by the House on June 2, 2025, by non-record vote, with an official copy to be presented to Lindley as an expression of high regard
