Recognizes LRL staff for maintaining the Texas Legislative Tracking System, recording legislative actions on the House and Senate floors, and operating a toll-free bill status hotline for the public

Acknowledges the library's role as statutory custodian of legislative records, including original bill files, committee publications, and an ongoing digitization project of historical records such as House and Senate journals

Highlights electronic databases maintained by the library, including the Texas Appointment System, Legislative Archive System, Index to Sections Affected, and Texas Legislators: Past & Present (covering 1846 to present)

Extends appreciation to Director Mary Camp and 25 named staff members, including librarians, archivists, legislative assistants, library assistants, and clipping service personnel for their service during the 89th Legislative Session
