Jack Baxley is retiring in March 2026 as vice president of governmental affairs for TEXO, The Construction Association, after more than 35 years of service to the construction industry

TEXO, formed in 2009, represents nearly 400 member companies responsible for over $20 billion in construction volume in North and East Texas, serving as a joint chapter of Associated General Contractors of America and Associated Builders and Contractors

Baxley played a key role in mergers of AGC and ABC chapters that established TEXO and previously ran the AGC Fort Worth chapter

Under his tenure, TEXO received annual awards from national ABC for advocacy and grassroots efforts in Texas, and he managed government relationships during the COVID-19 pandemic

The Texas House of Representatives congratulates Baxley and directs that an official copy of the resolution be prepared for him
