Ganado High School Maidens won the 2025 UIL 2A Division 1 state softball championship, the first softball state title in school history

Team finished the season with a 33-5-1 record and went undefeated in playoffs at 10-0, with seven victories by seven or more runs

Championship game on May 29 at McCombs Field in Austin ended in a 5-4 comeback victory over Riesel High School, with Ganado scoring two runs in the top of the seventh inning

Kyla Stancik named championship game Most Valuable Player; Paisley Hajovsky, Faith Palacios, Raelynn Pena, Jordyn Bundick, and Madi Weempe earned All-Tournament honors
