Commemorates the dedication of an Official Texas Historical Marker for Southside Place Park (also known as Fire Truck Park) in the Houston area on April 12, 2025

Southside Place Park was established in 1924 when Edward Lillo Crain purchased land from the former Harris County Poor Farm to develop a suburban neighborhood, setting aside eight lots for the park with amenities including a swimming pool, wading pool, bathhouse, tennis court, and play equipment

The city's first fire truck was retired in 1970 and converted into a play structure at the park entrance, where it served as a landmark for 42 years until the park underwent complete renovations in 2011-2012

Directs that an official copy of the resolution be prepared for the City of Southside Place as an expression of regard from the Texas House of Representatives
