Texas House of Representatives honors the Chisholm Trail Outdoor Museum in Cleburne, located on a 10-acre site at the former location of Wardville, Johnson County's first county seat

Museum preserves structures from the 1800s including the Nolan River School, a mule barn, and the original Johnson County log courthouse, along with artifacts at the Douglas Harman Chisholm Trail Artifacts and Western Memorabilia Museum and Big Bear Native American Museum

More than 7,000 students have visited through school field trips, and the museum hosts educational events including chuckwagon cooking camps, homesteading classes, and the annual Pioneer Days event

Resolution directs that an official copy be prepared for the museum as an expression of high regard from the Texas House of Representatives
