Texas House of Representatives pays tribute to Erma Adeyemo of Arlington, who passed away on March 31, 2025, at age 63

Adeyemo served as a special education teacher in Arlington Independent School District for more than 20 years and assisted with the district's summer food program

After retirement, she worked with cancer patients undergoing therapy at Texas Oncology and volunteered with Special Olympics

Active member of Word of Peace International Ministry Church in Grand Prairie, where she led the hospitality team and food pantry, sang in the choir, and participated in altar ministry

Resolution was unanimously adopted by rising vote on May 23, 2025, with the House adjourning in her memory
