Honors the life of Robert Maurice "Buddy" DeWalt of San Antonio, who passed away on August 28, 2024, at age 84

DeWalt served as a captain in the U.S. Army and was deployed to Frankfurt, Germany, following his 1962 graduation from St. Mary's University

Worked in sales for companies including Maldonado Jewelry, Sylvania, Polaroid, Amols' Novelties, and Southwestern Bell; also co-operated Candy Cane Children's Centers with his wife

Held extensive Masonic involvement as past master of Alamo Lodge No. 44 and Albert Pike Lodge No. 1169, and served as a noble of Alzafar Shrine, performing as "Budro the Clown"

The Texas House of Representatives adjourns in his memory and extends condolences to his three children and five grandchildren; resolution was unanimously adopted by rising vote on May 23, 2025
