Texas House of Representatives commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce (TAMACC), founded in 1975

TAMACC is headquartered in Buda and represents approximately 700,000 Hispanic-owned businesses in Texas through 18 local Hispanic chambers of commerce and more than 15,000 members

Organization conducts annual events including a convention and business expo, leadership development and procurement conferences, legislative advocacy programs, and a Women of Distinction Awards luncheon

TAMACC operates the Leadership Tejas mentorship program to prepare Hispanic business owners, managers, and community leaders for prominent positions

Resolution adopted by non-record vote on May 23, 2025, extending best wishes for continued success to the organization
