Texas House of Representatives honors Lee Corso for his 38-year career as ESPN College GameDay host, with his final broadcast scheduled for August 30, 2025, three weeks after his 90th birthday

Corso has been with College GameDay since its 1987 debut and is famous for his headgear picks tradition, which began October 5, 1996; he has made 430 headgear picks with a 286-144 record

Prior to broadcasting, Corso served 17 seasons as head football coach at the University of Louisville, Indiana University, Northern Illinois University, and the Orlando Renegades (USFL)

Corso played defensive back at Florida State in the 1950s and held the school's career interceptions record for two decades after graduation

Resolution directs that an official copy be prepared for Corso as an expression of high regard from the Texas House of Representatives
