Boyle began at St. Joseph in 1966 and taught English, Spanish, world history, government, and economics over more than 50 years at the school

Served as assistant principal from 1979 to 1989 and as director of facilities since 2020

Also taught at Colegio Santa María Marianistas in Lima, Peru, and Mount Sacred Heart Catholic School in San Antonio; holds bachelor's and master's degrees from St. Mary's University
