Requires the Sunset Advisory Commission to evaluate potential cost savings from relocating state agency headquarters currently located in Travis County or adjacent counties to locations outside that area

Cost savings evaluation must consider factors over a 10-year period including: cost of leasing/purchasing new office space, moving costs, market value of current state-owned property, and potential income from selling or leasing vacated properties

Texas Facilities Commission must assist with the relocation cost evaluations

State agencies must relocate their headquarters if the Sunset Advisory Commission determines the move would create cost savings for the state

Effective date: September 1, 2025
