Requires freestanding emergency medical care facilities to submit reports to the Health and Human Services Commission for any patient stay exceeding 48 hours

Exempts facilities from reporting requirements for patient stays of 48 hours or less

Reports must be submitted in the form and manner specified by the commission, in addition to any other information already required by rule

Adds new Section 254.1535 to Chapter 254, Subchapter D of the Health and Safety Code

Effective date is September 1, 2025
