Grants the Texas Attorney General jurisdiction to prosecute criminal offenses under the Election Code if a local prosecuting attorney has not initiated proceedings within 6 months of receiving a law enforcement report with probable cause

Requires law enforcement agencies to simultaneously submit copies of election crime reports to both the local prosecuting attorney and the Attorney General

Mandates that local prosecutors and law enforcement agencies provide all requested information to the Attorney General regarding election crime investigations

Authorizes the Attorney General to direct county or district attorneys to prosecute election offenses or assist in prosecution efforts

Applies only to offenses committed on or after September 1, 2025
