Allows contractors and subcontractors to void contract provisions that incorporate external documents by reference if they do not receive a copy of those documents at least 10 days before contract execution upon written request

Defines key terms including "copy" (accurate reproduction in paper or electronic format), "original contract," "original contractor," "owner," and "subcontractor" for construction contract purposes

Permits parties to redact information from incorporated documents, but redacted portions cannot be incorporated into the contract by reference or otherwise

Exempts publicly available documents (accessible with or without charge) and emergency situations where all referenced documents are provided simultaneously with the contract prior to execution

Prohibits waiver of the chapter's protections by contract or other means, declaring any such waiver void as against public policy, and applies to contracts entered into or renewed on or after September 1, 2025
