Requires at least one parent or guardian of a child with a disability who is a Medicaid recipient (including Medicaid waiver program recipients) to be appointed to the Health and Human Services Commission Executive Council

The new parent/guardian member must be appointed by the executive commissioner and serves at the executive commissioner's pleasure

Appointed parent/guardian members may not receive compensation but are entitled to reimbursement for travel expenses incurred while conducting council business

The executive commissioner must appoint the required parent/guardian member as soon as practicable after the effective date

Takes effect September 1, 2025
