Expands the public safety report system to include additional defendant information such as current bail/pretrial release status, community supervision or parole status, outstanding warrants, and any protective orders against the defendant

Requires public safety reports to be provided within 48 hours of arrest to the magistrate, prosecuting attorney, and court clerk, and allows counties to integrate their jail and case management systems with the state public safety report system at no cost

Mandates that when a defendant on felony bail is charged with a new felony in a different county, electronic notice must be sent to the original county within one business day, and the original court must consider revoking or modifying bail terms

Creates a new review process allowing bail decisions made by magistrates without trial jurisdiction to be reviewed by courts with jurisdiction, with documents transmitted by the next business day unless the county has adopted an alternative procedure

Requires peace officers to inform victims of family violence, stalking, harassment, or terroristic threat that they can provide information to prosecutors that may be helpful when a magistrate sets bail for the arrested offender
