Requires presiding election judges and alternate presiding judges to print voting machine tapes showing vote counts immediately after polls close on both election day and the last day of early voting by personal appearance

Mandates that both the presiding election judge and alternate presiding judge sign printed voting machine tapes, changing from the previous requirement that only one or the other sign

Allows up to three poll watchers present at closing to sign the voting machine tape printed on election day

Requires voting machine tapes printed on the last day of early voting to be placed in envelope no. 2 along with other election materials

Clarifies that printing a tape under the required procedures does not constitute an offense under election law

Takes effect September 1, 2025
