Expands existing Texas law prohibiting agreements with foreign-owned companies regarding critical infrastructure to also include agricultural land

Defines "agricultural land" as land qualifying for agricultural tax appraisal under the Tax Code, consisting of no more than 5 acres of noncontiguous land

Prohibits business entities and individuals from entering into agreements relating to agricultural land with foreign citizens

Bars agreements that would grant foreign-owned companies direct or remote access to or control of agricultural land, with exceptions for product warranty and support purposes

Applies to companies owned or majority-controlled by foreign citizens, foreign governments, or headquartered in foreign countries, regardless of whether securities are publicly traded

Takes effect September 1, 2025
