Requires the president of a public institution of higher education to investigate any allegation that a professor or instructor discriminated against a student on the basis of religion

Mandates termination of the professor's or instructor's employment if the president determines religious discrimination occurred, while requiring appropriate due process during the investigation

Places the academic department of a terminated faculty member under conservatorship of the president's office for a minimum of 90 days following a discrimination finding

Grants the president authority during conservatorship to investigate further discrimination risks, require department policy changes, and take any necessary action to prevent future religious discrimination

Applies to allegations submitted on or after September 1, 2025, including for conduct that occurred before the effective date
