Amends Section 63.0101(a) of the Election Code to modify acceptable forms of photo identification for voting purposes

Excludes certain driver's licenses from acceptable voter ID, specifically those issued under Transportation Code sections 521.271(a-2), (a-3), (a-4), or 521.2711(c), which pertain to licenses issued to individuals without lawful presence documentation

Reduces the expiration grace period for DPS-issued IDs (driver's licenses, election identification certificates, and personal identification cards) from four years to one year before the date of presentation

Maintains the four-year expiration grace period for U.S. military IDs, U.S. passports, and handgun carry licenses

Applies to elections ordered on or after the effective date, with immediate effect upon two-thirds legislative vote or September 1, 2025
