Elevates reckless driving from a standard misdemeanor (up to $200 fine and/or 30 days in jail) to a Class B misdemeanor when the offense causes a collision resulting in bodily injury to another person

Enhanced penalty applies when the driver was speeding 20+ mph over the limit in urban districts, 30+ mph over the limit outside urban districts, or using a portable wireless communication device at the time of the offense

Allows prosecutors to charge offenders under both the reckless driving statute and any other applicable law for the same conduct

Applies only to offenses committed on or after September 1, 2025
