Creates Chapter 75D in the Civil Practice and Remedies Code to limit liability for water park owners and operators for participant injuries, deaths, emotional distress, or property damage when a required warning sign is posted at the entrance

Defines "water park" broadly to include commercial properties with swimming pools, water slides, splash pads, lazy rivers, and associated facilities such as changing rooms, hot tubs, saunas, and retail services

Preserves liability for injuries caused by the water park entity's negligence regarding safety, known or reasonably knowable dangerous conditions, failure to train or improper training of employees, or intentional acts

Requires water parks to post a clearly visible sign near the entrance warning that Texas law limits liability for injuries or death resulting from water park attendance or activities

Passed the Senate 28-2 on April 10, 2025, and the House 132-16 on May 8, 2025; takes effect immediately with two-thirds vote or September 1, 2025
