Extends the statute of limitations for health care liability claims involving gender transition treatments provided to minors, allowing claimants to file until their 30th birthday

Applies specifically to malpractice claims related to puberty suppression drugs, cross-sex hormones, surgery, or other medical procedures performed on a minor for gender transitioning or reassignment

Exempts these specific claims from the general 10-year statute of repose that applies to other health care liability claims in Texas

Retains the existing 2-year statute of limitations and 10-year statute of repose for all other health care liability claims

Takes effect September 1, 2025, and applies only to causes of action accruing on or after that date
