Requires notification of proposed residential or multifamily zoning changes to school districts, open-enrollment charter schools, general hospitals within 1,500 feet, and the municipality's fire and police departments

Expands the protest zone from 200 feet to 1,500 feet, allowing property owners within that distance to trigger a three-fourths supermajority vote requirement for approval of contested zoning changes
