Bans school districts from assigning "diversity, equity, and inclusion duties" to employees, including influencing hiring based on race/sex/ethnicity, promoting differential treatment based on race, or requiring DEI statements, with disciplinary consequences including termination for violations

Prohibits instruction, guidance, activities, or programming regarding sexual orientation or gender identity for students in prekindergarten through 12th grade, and bars schools from authorizing student clubs based on sexual orientation or gender identity

Establishes comprehensive parental rights protections, including requirements for schools to notify parents of changes in services related to a child's mental, emotional, or physical health, and prohibits withholding information from parents about their children

Creates a formal grievance procedure for parents to challenge violations, with multiple levels of review up to the school board and commissioner, mandatory timelines for hearings and decisions, and annual reporting requirements on grievance outcomes
