Extends the reauthorization period for municipal street maintenance sales tax from 4 years to 10 years for municipalities with populations under 50,000 that include a portion of an international airport, are located in only two counties (one with population of 2.2 million or more adjacent to a county with population over 600,000)

Expands allowable uses of street maintenance tax revenue to include maintenance and repair of municipal sidewalks and water, wastewater, or stormwater systems located within the right-of-way of municipal streets

Removes the restriction that limited tax revenue use to only streets or sidewalks existing on the date the tax was originally adopted

Updates ballot language requirements for reauthorization elections to specify whether the tax expires on the fourth, eighth, or 10th anniversary of the election date, depending on the municipality's eligibility

Takes effect immediately upon receiving two-thirds vote of both legislative chambers, otherwise September 1, 2025
