Authorizes appellate courts to issue temporary orders necessary to preserve a party's rights until an interlocutory appeal is resolved

Allows appellate courts to enlist trial courts to assist by hearing evidence, making findings of fact, and providing recommendations related to temporary orders, even when trial court proceedings are otherwise stayed

Amends Section 51.014 of the Civil Practice and Remedies Code by adding new Subsection (i)

Takes effect September 1, 2025
