Authorizes county commissioners courts and municipal governing bodies to prohibit the sale of cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and tobacco products by establishments operating within 300 feet of churches, public hospitals, or public/private primary and secondary schools

Allows an extended 1,000-foot prohibition zone around public or private school campuses when requested by the school district board of trustees or the school's governing body

Exempts establishments where cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and tobacco products account for less than 50% of total gross receipts from these location-based sales restrictions

School district boards of trustees and private school governing bodies may formally request that counties or municipalities adopt the expanded 1,000-foot prohibition for their campuses

Takes effect September 1, 2025
