Adds commissioned law enforcement officers of the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) to the definition of "state employee" eligible for hazardous duty pay under Government Code Section 659.301

Extends injury leave benefits to peace officers commissioned by TCOLE, adding them to the list of officers covered under Government Code Section 661.918

Requires TCOLE peace officers to be compensated according to Schedule C of the position classification salary schedule in the General Appropriations Act

Directs the state auditor's classification officer to reclassify TCOLE commissioned peace officer positions as Schedule C positions, effective beginning the fiscal biennium starting September 1, 2025

Takes effect September 1, 2025; injury leave provisions apply only to injuries occurring on or after that date
