Allows the Texas Supreme Court to stay attorney disciplinary proceedings and reconsider a chief disciplinary counsel's "just cause" finding, either on its own motion or upon motion by the respondent attorney

Authorizes the Supreme Court to either dismiss the complaint or affirm the just cause finding after reviewing the complaint and investigation

Filing a motion for stay and reconsideration does not affect filing deadlines or time limits for trials or hearings unless the stay is actually granted

Motions for stay and reconsideration are automatically denied if the Supreme Court does not act within 45 days of filing

Applies only to grievances filed on or after September 1, 2025; earlier grievances remain under prior law
